DeWayne Zinkin founded Zinkin Entertainment & Sports Management in 2001 with partner Bob Cook. Born and raised in Fresno, California, DeWayne comes from a family with a strong background in physical fitness & tradition of successful athletes. DeWayne’s grandfather, Harold Zinkin, invented the Universal Gym Equipment and was one of the founders of Muscle Beach. As a Division 1 wrestler at Fresno State, DeWayne garnered several titles including two-time Conference Champion as well as NCAA All- American honors.
Prior to establishing Zinkin Entertainment, DeWayne focused his full-time attention to his family real estate development company. With his passion for wrestling and sports in general, and having no outlet as a wrestler post-college, DeWayne sought to find a market that would showcase the talents of wrestlers and other similar disciplines. When Mixed Martial Arts debuted as a sport in the early 90’s, he instinctively recognized an untapped venue that would allow him to integrate his love of wrestling into a sports management company.
DeWayne’s background in sports and business has made ZE Sports Management the most influential and innovative agency in the MMA arena. Managing the industries top fighters, DeWayne is dedicated to providing his athletes with the best comprehensive service in the industry.
